Tata Nexon bookings to open on September 11, 2017

Bookings for the Tata Nexon will commence on September 11, 2017. Customers can place their orders at the nearest Tata Motors authorised dealership by paying a booking amount of Rs. 11,000. The Tata Nexon is likely to be launched this month, although Tata Motors is yet to formally announce the launch date.

The Nexon is likely to be offered in XE (base trim) followed by XM, XT and XZ+ (top variant). Dual front airbags and ABS with corner stability control will be standard across all variants.

Tata Motors had earlier announced that the Nexon will be offered with a choice of two engines - a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit producing 108 BHP and 170 Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel making 108 BHP and 260 Nm of peak torque. Initially, the Nexon will be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission. An AMT version is expected to be launched early next year. 

Other features available on the Nexon include automatic climate control, 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with voice recognition, smartphone connectivity and 8 speakers, smart key with engine start/stop button and reverse parking assist with camera.
