Tata Nexon AMT launched at Rs. 9.41 lakh

The new Tata Nexon AMT has been launched at a price of Rs. 9,41,350 for the petrol and Rs. 10,38,830 for the diesel. Both prices are in ex-showroom, Delhi.

Officially called the Nexon HyprDrive Self - Shift Gears (S-SG), the Nexon AMT will be available in XZA+ variant only. For the new car, Tata has introduced a new dual-tone colour option - Etna Orange with Sonic Silver roof. The exterior and interior styling remains identical to the standard Nexon. The equipment list is also similar to the XZ+ variant. It gets projector headlights with LED DRLs, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and Android Auto connectivity, text and Whatsapp messages readout, voice commands, 8 speakers and a multi-functional steering wheel. The AMT also comes with a wearable smart key in the form of a wristband.

The Nexon AMT is offered with the same petrol and diesel engine as the manual version. The 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine produces 108 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and a peak torque of 170 Nm @ 1,750-4,000 rpm while the 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel unit puts out 108 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 260 Nm @ 1,500-2,750 rpm. The 6-speed AMT comes with anti-stall and kick-down features. Like the manual version, the Nexon AMT has 3 driving modes - Eco, City and Sport. 

Standard safety features include driver and passenger airbags, ABS with EBD and park assist with rear sensors and camera.
