Suzuki motorcycles can now be booked on Snapdeal

Suzuki Motorcycle India has tied up with online marketplace Snapdeal for the sale of its vehicles.

Customers will be able to browse Suzuki two-wheelers on the Snapdeal Motors platform, select a vehicle, book it (via online payment of booking amount), and select a dealership in their vicinity from where the vehicle can be picked up. As an initial launch offer, buyers who purchase Suzuki vehicles on Snapdeal can avail one year free vehicle insurance.

The bikes listed include the Gixxer, Gixxer SF and Hayate motorcycles and Access 125, Swish 125 and Let's scooters. The booking amount for each model is Rs. 3,000. This amount is non-refundable and once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled.

Online retail of vehicles is gaining popularity. In September 2014, the 2014 Mahindra Scorpio could be pre-booked Snapdeal. In December 2014, the website started accepting bookings of Hero MotoCorp two-wheelers and earlier this year, Mahindra Two Wheelers tied up with PayTM for the sale of its vehicles.
