Suzuki launches updated Hayate

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched a refreshed version of the Hayate commuter motorcycle.

The updated bike gets cosmetic changes as well as additional features. These include new body graphics, fully painted side cowl, wider rims, tubeless tyres, 5-step adjustable rear shock absorbers and a maintenance-free battery. The bike is available in five colour options - Pearl Mirage White, Pearl Moon Stone Grey, Glass Sparkle Black with blue graphics Glass Sparkle Black with red graphics and Pearl Mira Red - Glass Sparkle Black.

There updated Hayate does not feature any mechanical changes. It continues with the same 112.8 cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke engine as before. The unit produces 8.3 PS @ 7500 rpm and 8.8 Nm @ 5500 rpm.

The Hayate is available in two versions - Kick Start and Kick & Self Start, priced at Rs. 45,245 and Rs. 49,315 (on-road, Delhi), respectively.
