The Suzuki Gixxer SF is now available with anti-lock brakes (ABS). The bike comes in two variants. The carburetted (Standard) variant is priced at Rs. 95,499, while the fuel-injected (FI) variant costs Rs. 99,312 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Gixxer SF comes in two colour options - Metallic Trition Blue and Glass Sparkle Black / Metallic Matte Black. The bike comes with full fairing and measures 2,050 mm in length, 785 mm in width and 1,085 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1,330 mm and a seat height of 780 mm. Its fuel tank capacity is 12 litres. The bike runs on 17-inch rims shod with 100/80 and 140/60 section tubeless tyres at the front and rear respectively.
The Gixxer SF is powered by a BS-IV compliant, all-aluminium 154.9cc, single-cylinder, SOHC, air-cooled engine that is available in carburetted or fuel-injected versions. It puts out 14.5 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are carried out by a 41 mm telescopic fork at the front and a 7-step adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear. Stopping power comes from disc brakes on both wheels.
The Gixxer SF ABS is equipped with features like automatic headlamp on (AHO), LED tail lamp, clear lens indicators, aluminium muffler cover and a digital instrument cluster with gear position indicator, tachometer, LCD trim meter and programmable gear shift indicator.
