Skoda ties up with ORIX to offer leasing options

Skoda has partnered with ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services to offer leasing solutions in India. Customers will be able to lease Skoda cars on a monthly rental basis starting from Rs. 19,856. The Skoda Rapid, Octavia, Superb and Kodiaq are available for a lease of up to 5 years. 

Skoda is offering a subscription-based payment model with zero down payment. As part of the lease plan, the company will take care of road tax, insurance, breakdown assistance, accidental repairs, end-to-end maintenance, scheduled tyre and battery changes as well as providing a replacement vehicle if required. 

The lease rental service is aimed at salaried individuals, working professionals, small and medium business enterprises, corporate entities and public sector units. In the first phase, customers in eight cities namely - Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad will be able to avail of these services. Eventually, the company plans to offer these leasing options all over India.

In October 2018, Mahindra had announced similar leasing options on the KUV100 NXT and XUV500.
