Skoda's upcoming mid-size sedan has been spotted testing once again. But, the latest spy images give us a glimpse of the car's interior.
Skoda's new mid-size sedan dubbed the Slavia is expected to be based on the MQB A0 IN platform, which also underpins the Kushaq crossover. It will be longer and wider than the current-gen Rapid. The test car seen in these images is equipped with a 2-spoke steering wheel and a sunroof.
On the outside, the Slavia gets a familiar Skoda grille at the front. It could get a notchback design similar to the Octavia.
The new mid-size sedan could be offered with the same engine options as the Kushaq. These include a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 114 BHP and 175 Nm and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor packing 148 BHP and 250 Nm. Transmission options could include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and a 7-speed DSG.
The Skoda Slavia is expected to be positioned above the Rapid when it arrives at the end of this year.
