Skoda Octavia RS 245 to be launched at the 2020 Auto Expo

Skoda is planning to launch the Octavia RS 245 in India at the 2020 Auto Expo. The car will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU) and will be available in limited numbers.

The Octavia RS 245 is expected to get a gloss black grille with the vRS logo, smoked headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels and sports suspension. On the inside, the car is likely to get a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with navigation, ambient lighting and electrically adjustable seats with memory function.

The Octavia RS 245 is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 241 BHP @ 5,000-6,700 rpm and 370 Nm @ 1,600-4,300 rpm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission.
