Skoda has listed the Superb SportLine on its website and is planning to launch it sometime in the near future. The new version is expected to get exterior and interior updates but mechanically, it might be identical to the standard Superb.
The Superb SportLine is already on sale in European markets. It gets a black grille and ORVM housings. The car comes with black window trim with blacked-out B-pillars. The headlights and fog lamps also have smoked internals. At the rear, the SportLine features a black lip spoiler and dual-tone bumper with a silver trim. It also gets 18 / 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
The SportLine version gets black interiors with red accents and Alcantara upholstery. It comes equipped with LED ambient lighting as standard. It has a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel with a twin-dial instrument cluster and a performance monitor, which shows oil and coolant temperatures and g-force acceleration.
In the international market, the Superb SportLine is offered with a choice of 2 engines. A 2.0-litre, turbocharged diesel in two states of tune -150 BHP / 340 Nm and 190 BHP / 400 Nm is paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. A 4x4 variant is also available with the DSG box. A 2.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine which makes 280 BHP and 350 Nm of torque is also offered with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. In India, the Superb SportLine is likely to be offered with the existing 1.8-litre, turbo petrol and 2.0-litre, turbo diesel engines. Also, the India-spec car is unlikely to get all-wheel drive.
