Skoda has started accepting bookings for the Karoq SUV online and across their dealerships. The booking amount is set at Rs. 50,000 and customers who pre-book can expect deliveries from May 6, 2020.
The Karoq was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. The SUV will be positioned below the Kodiaq in Skoda's line-up. It will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU).
The Karoq is expected to be offered in a single, fully-loaded trim. It could get features such as LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, 12-way electrically adjustable driver's seat and 9 airbags.
In India, the Karoq is expected to be powered by a 1.5-litre, turbo petrol engine mated with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
