Skoda to announce name of Vision IN SUV soon

Skoda has registered five names last month - Karmiq, Konarq, Kliq, Kushaq and Kosmiq.

Zac Hollis, Director and Head of Sales & Marketing, Skoda India, has confirmed that the company will announce the official name of the Vision IN SUV in a few days time.

Skoda has registered five new names last month. These include - Karmiq, Konarq, Kliq, Kushaq and Kosmiq. We will get to know soon, if Skoda uses one of these names for the Vision IN.

The Vision IN will be based on the MQB A0 IN platform. The concept car that was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo measured 4,256 mm in length, 1,589 mm in height and had a wheelbase of 2,671 mm.

The SUV could be powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 148 BHP and 250 Nm. This engine could be offered with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Lower variant could get a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine mated with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
