Ever since we sold the Aprilia, my daughter had been pestering to get a bike as she loves riding. I have a 2014 Activa in which I take her for a ride when in Puttur but for some reason she always fancied riding on a bike. Fast forward I managed to get the Bullet but being year end, didn't have time to take her for a ride inside the city.
Jan 14th was a holiday and also was a Tuesday. Me and my 8-year-old daughter decided to go for a ride within the city. Being a holiday, traffic was very light and since we started post breakfast, the weather was pleasant. We went to Vidhana Soudha and spent some time clicking pictures. My daughter had seen it earlier but that was probably before COVID. This building and the landscape never fail to impress.
From there we rode on some of the popular CBD streets like Richmond road, MG road, St Marks road etc. The city reminded me of days I used to ride about 20 years ago. I had a Pulsar 200 back then, weekend usually would spend time visiting these areas. Except for Silk board-electronic city, traffic was sparse in the rest of the area and I would even ride to airlines for a cup of coffee / snack in the evening from BTM.
To wrap up, visited Sweet Chariot for a simple pastry and returned back home for lunch.
