The first undisguised images of the facelift versions of the Polo and Vento have surfaced online. Both cars are likely to get minor aesthetic updates.
The Polo GT seen in the images has a new grille and front bumper that looks similar to the one on the Polo GTI. It has a trapezoidal air dam and fog lamps. The car has a black roof and blacked out B-pillars and ORVMs. At the rear, the Polo GT gets a black spoiler, revised tail lamp clusters and a new dual-tone bumper. The car is sporting 10-spoke alloy wheels and no longer has badging on the C-pillars.
The Vento also has a black roof and blacked-out B pillars. It has a chrome strip on the doors and on the boot lid. The car rides on the same 10-spoke alloy wheels as the Polo. Both the cars get black skirts along the doors and bumpers.
The Polo and Vento are likely to retain the same set of engines. The Polo comes with a 1.0-litre petrol, 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, while the Vento is powered by a 1.6-litre petrol, 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel units.
