Scoop! Tata begins work on Altroz-based sedan

It is said that Tata has begun work on a sedan based on the ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) platform that also underpins the Altroz hatchback.

The sedan is expected to feature the Impact 2.0 design language and borrow design cues from the Altroz and the E-VISION Sedan Concept, which was unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Details on the new sedan's powertrain are not known.

The sedan is expected to rival cars like the Honda City, Maruti Ciaz and the Hyundai Verna.
