The Hilux will be offered with a 2.8-litre diesel engine paired with a manual as well as an automatic transmission and power will be sent to all four wheels. The offroad kit includes 4X4 Electronic Drive Switch, Electronic Differential Lock, active traction control, auto limited slip differential, and downhill assist control.

The pickup will be equipped with features like automatic LED headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, piano black trapezoidal grille with chrome surround, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leather seats, and dual-zone climate control. Safety features include 7 airbags, vehicle stability control, ABS, EBD, and hill-start assist control.

The Toyota Hilux will be available in 5 colour options - Emotional Red, Gray Metallic, White Pearl, Silver Metallic, and Super White. It will be launched on January 20, 2022 and deliveries will begin in March 2022.
