As Hyundai prepares to launch the third generation i20 in India, more spy images of the car have emerged. This time, the car being tested is believed to be a turbo petrol version.
On the outside, the test mule looks similar to those seen before. But, a quick glance at the window sticker reveals that the car is powered a 1.0-litre T-GDi turbo petrol engine which is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This engine could also be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission.
In India, the i20 is also likely to be offered with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 1.5-litre diesel with the option of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Looking at the exterior, this does not seem like the N-Line version, which gets a sporty body kit featuring slightly different front and rear bumpers, dual exhausts and larger alloy wheels.
