In July 2016, we had reported that Hyundai was readying an Anniversary Edition of the Creta to celebrate the first anniversary of the SUV in India (click here to read report). Now, the features and prices of the car have been revealed.
The Anniversary Edition will be based on the SX+ trim level of the petrol and diesel versions of the Creta. It will be available in Polar White colour with a black roof. The car's C-pillar and integrated spoiler will be finished in black as well. Other features include 17-inch alloy wheels, bright silver skid plates and body graphics.
On the inside, the Anniversary Edition gets a black dashboard with red accents, fabric upholstery with red inserts and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The Anniversary Edition is not likely to feature any mechanical changes. It will get the same 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines and 6-speed manual transmission as the regular Creta SX+.
The Creta SX+ Anniversary Edition petrol is priced at Rs. 12,50,717, while the diesel is priced at Rs. 14,06,961 (both prices ex-showroom, Surat, Gujarat). This makes the Anniversary Edition Rs. 39,000 (approximately) more expensive than the standard SX+.
