Scoop! 2022 Maruti Baleno facelift spotted during ad shoot

The Baleno facelift is expected to be launched prior to the 2022 Vitara Brezza.

Last month, we got our first glimpse of the Baleno facelift. We can now share more images of the updated Baleno that were captured during an ad shoot.

The 2022 Baleno has been given a thorough makeover. It features a slimmer grille, redesigned headlamps and an updated front bumper. At the rear, the car gets reworked tail lamp units and tailgate.

The car seen in these images appears to be finished in the Nexa Blue shade. It has chrome door handles and is equipped with dual-tone alloy wheels as well.

The 2022 Baleno is also expected to get a few changes on the interior. The car could get an upgraded touchscreen infotainment system among other minor changes.

The Baleno could be offered with the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.2-litre DualJet mild-hybrid engines. The latter produces 89 BHP and 113 Nm currently and comes mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. A CVT is available on the non-hybrid version.
