Maruti Suzuki recently unveiled its new upcoming premium crossover, S-Cross at the 2015 IIFA Awards in Malaysia. Production for this car has already begun and it is likely to go on sale in July, 2015. A video of this car by NDTV, has recently revealed some more information about the car.

The exteriors of this car feature a double slat chrome grill, chrome inserts in the fog lamp housing, projector headlamps with daytime running lights, all-round body cladding to give it a rugged SUV-look, 16" alloy wheels, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, roof-rails and wrap-around tail lamps.

The interiors of the 1.6 DDiS feature a black theme. Certain features that were revealed in the video are keyless entry, steering-mounted controls and features like cruise control and dual-zone climate control which will make their debut in the first production Maruti Suzuki vehicle in India. This car will be competing with the upcoming Hyundai Creta, and Maruti will make sure that the S-Cross is loaded with equipment.

Speculations suggest that there will be two diesel engines on offer initially - 1.3 litre and 1.6 litre, with no confirmation regarding the transmission options or the petrol engine.
