According to reports, dealers have started accepting bookings for the Toyota Innova Crysta facelift. Deliveries could begin as early as the second half of November 2020. It is rumoured that on-road prices could increase by Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1 lakh.
The Innova Crysta facelift was revealed in Indonesia in October this year. The MPV gets a new front fascia featuring a redesigned grille. The new front bumper houses the turn indicators in triangular pods and has circular fog lamps positioned lower down. It also gets new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Toyota hasn't made any major changes to the interior.
In India, the pre-facelift Innova is powered by a 2.4-litre diesel engine that produces 148 BHP @ 3,400 rpm and 360 Nm @ 1,400-2,600 rpm. In the manual variants, the engine makes 343 Nm @ 1,400-2,800 rpm. The engine is mated to either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The MPV is also available with a 2.7-litre petrol engine that makes 164 BHP @ 5,200 rpm and 245 Nm @ 4,000 rpm.
