According to a media report, Tata Motors is likely to unveil the production-spec Altroz in December 2019.
The Altroz is based on the modular ALFA platform and its styling is based on Tata's Impact Design 2.0 philosophy. A pre-production version was unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The car features a slim grille and headlamps with triangular fog lamp pods placed just below the main headlamp clusters. At the rear, the Altroz features wraparound tail lamps with gloss black trim in the centre.
On the inside, the Altroz gets a floating touchscreen infotainment system, 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster with an analogue speedometer similar to the one on the Harrier.
The Tata Altroz is expected to be offered with three engine options including a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine from the Tiago, 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. A 5-speed manual transmission is likely to be offered as standard, while an automatic could be introduced later.
