Tata Motors has reportedly started service training for its upcoming compact SUV - Nexon. The Nexon is expected to be launched in India next month, i.e. August 2017.
Interestingly, it is also being reported that the company is offering training for both petrol and diesel models. As a result, it might be a possibility that both engine options will be available at the time of launch. These reports are a departure from earlier speculations that had suggested that the Nexon will initially be launched with only a diesel engine option, while a petrol engine will be added later.
The diesel variants are expected to come with a newly-developed 1.5-litre turbocharged Revotorq unit, while the petrol models will likely feature a 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron engine. A manual gearbox will be offered as standard, with an AMT option added on select variants.
