Rumour: Royal Enfield Bobber to be powered by an 830cc V-Twin

Royal Enfield has released another teaser of its new Bobber concept that is set to be unveiled at the 2018 International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition (EICMA) in Milan on November 6, 2018. Reports suggest that it could be powered by a new 830cc, V-twin engine developed in collaboration with Polaris Industries. The engine is rumoured to produce around 79-89 BHP.

Earlier this year, the bike maker had confirmed that it was working on 4 new platforms - J, P, Q and K. The Q and K platforms will spawn models above 700cc. The new Bobber concept could be based on one of these platforms. Further, it has been reported that the bike is being jointly developed by Royal Enfield and Polaris in the UK and is currently in its early stages of development.

According to the latest teaser image, the bike gets a circular headlamp with LED DRLs, a flat handlebar and floating seat. The image reveals a twin-stacked exhaust and alloy wheels. The bike is equipped with twin disc brakes at the front and a single disc brake at the rear.
