According to a media report, the next-generation Honda Jazz could be offered only in a hybrid guise. It has been spotted testing.
The spy images reveal an evolution of the 4th-gen Jazz. It gets a tallboy design with large windows and redesigned lights, bumpers and bonnet. The interiors get a centrally mounted infotainment screen and triple dial AC controls.
While details on the exact powertrain are not yet known, the Jazz is expected to use dual electric motors and a combustion engine along with the CVT transmission, similar to the one found on the CR-V Hybrid.
In the UK market, Honda currently sells the CR-V Hybrid that replaced the diesel version. The petrol variant is also sold alongside. It is reported that the hybrid model accounts for 60% of the total CR-V sales in the country.
