According to a media report, Maruti's Future-S based S-Presso crossover could be launched in September this year.
The S-Presso is expected to be based on the Heartect platform. In terms of styling, the SUV-ish hatchback is likely to get an upright stance with wraparound headlamps and rectangular tail lamps. The S-Presso could get colour-matched interior trim, a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system.
Reports suggest that S-Presso could be offered with a BS-VI compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine. It might also get a CNG option.
The Maruti S-Presso is expected to compete with cars like the Renault Kwid in Indian market.
