As per recent media reports, Maruti Suzuki will be launching the facelifted S-Cross in India in the second half of 2017. The car was revealed globally earlier this year, and was also showcased at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.
The facelifted S-Cross gets a new front fascia, which features a vertically slated grille, a beefier bumper, and new headlights with projectors. The side profile remains nearly identical, though the black body cladding is now thicker as compared to the model currently on sale in India. The rear gets new taillights and a redesigned bumper.
Interiors of the facelifted model get a new instrument cluster and new seat upholstery with contrast stitching.
For the Indian market, Maruti will most likely continue to offer the S-Cross with the 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engines. There are also rumours about a petrol engine making its way to the S-Cross, though nothing has been officially confirmed as of now.
