A teaser on Isuzu's website reveals that the carmaker might launch the V-Cross Hi-Lander along with the regular V-Cross.
Rumours suggest that the Hi-lander will be the base-spec variant of the V-Cross. This trim will be based on the previous-generation model, which was on sale prior to the implementation of the BS6 emission norms. The vehicle has already been spotted at dealerships.
It is likely to be powered by a 1.9-litre diesel engine with an automatic transmission as standard. The Hi-Lander trims are also expected to be offered in both rear-wheel-drive as well as four-wheel-drive configurations.
Along with the Hi-Lander, Isuzu may launch the next-gen V-Cross as well, at a higher price range. The next-gen V-Cross could be powered by a BS6-compliant 3.0-litre diesel engine.
