Rumour: Hyundai Venue bookings open

According to a media report, Hyundai dealerships have started accepting bookings for the upcoming Venue compact SUV. The booking amount has been reportedly set at Rs. 50,000.

The Hyundai Venue is likely to be offered in four variants - E, S, SX and SX (O). The car features a chrome grille with split headlamps and a dual-tone bumper at the front and rectangular tail lamps at the rear with the name of the car in the centre. Higher variants are expected to get dual-tone alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Venue gets a black dashboard with silver trim, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluelink and i-Smart IRVM. The car's rear seats are likely to get three adjustable headrests and a centre armrest. Wireless charging and ventilated front seats are also expected to be offered on higher variants.

The Hyundai Venue could be offered with 1.4-litre petrol and diesel engines. A 1.0-litre petrol engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is also likely to be available in the SX (O) trim. ESC could be offered as standard while hill-hold assist could be available in higher variants.
