Rumour: Hyundai Aura to be launched on December 21, 2019

According to a media report, the Hyundai Aura compact sedan is likely to be launched on December 21, 2019.

The Hyundai Aura was unveiled a few hours ago. It shares its underpinnings with the Grand i10 NIOS and will replace the Xcent.

The Aura has a black grille with V-shaped LED daytime running lights, wraparound headlights and triangular fog lamp pods. The car has blacked-out B and C-pillars, and new C-shaped wraparound tail lights. The car rides on 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The Aura will be available with three BS6-compliant engines including a 1.2-litre petrol unit producing 82 BHP and 113 Nm, 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 99 BHP and 172 Nm and a 1.2-litre diesel engine with 74 BHP and 190 Nm. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT.
