Rumour: Discovery Sport facelift launch in January 2020

According to a media report, Land Rover is likely to launch the Discovery Sport facelift in India in January 2020.

The updated Discovery Sport comes with a new grille and LED headlights with redesigned LED daytime running lights. It also gets a new front bumper with a trapezoidal air dam. At the rear, the SUV gets redesigned tail lamp clusters with a black insert in the centre and a dual-tone rear bumper.

On the inside, the new Discover Sport gets a redesigned dashboard with a 10.25-inch touchscreen head-unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It also gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and features such as ClearSight Ground View, wireless charging and massaging seats in the front.

In India, the Discovery Sport is expected to be offered with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine and a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel unit. Both engines are likely to be paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
