The Datsun GO and GO+ facelift are likely to be launched within a month. The new models will be based on the same platform but will get updated exteriors and interiors. Our sources tell us that the top-end variant of the GO is expected to get a touchscreen infotainment system.

Test mules of the new Datsun GO were spotted last month. The spy images suggest that the car is likely to have similar proportions to the outgoing model. The test car was spotted with 5-spoke alloy wheels and ORVMs without integrated turn signals.

Mechanically, both the new GO and GO+ are expected to be identical to the current models. The 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine produces 67 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
