Rumour: Audi Q8 to be priced at Rs. 1.40 crore

According to a media report, the Audi Q8 is likely to be priced at Rs. 1.40 crore. The report states that Audi dealerships are accepting bookings for an amount of Rs. 15 lakh.

The Audi Q8 comes with a single frame octagonal grille and LED headlights. It has a coupe-like side profile and rides on 22-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the Q8 gets LED tail lights and an LED light bar that extends across the tailgate. On the inside, the Q8 comes with twin-touchscreens, 3-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster.

In India, the Audi Q8 is expected to be offered with a 3.0-litre petrol engine producing 335 BHP and 500 Nm. The engine could be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and the Quattro all-wheel drive system.

The Audi Q8 will imported as a completely built unit (CBU) and will reportedly be launched in January 2020.
