Rumour: 2nd-gen Hyundai Creta launch in March 2020

According to a media report, the second-generation Hyundai Creta is likely to be launched in March this year. The SUV is expected to be unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo.

The new Creta is expected to get a redesigned grille with horizontal slats and trapezoidal headlamps with separate daytime running lights on top. The front bumper has a slim air dam and fog lamps on either side. At the rear, the new Creta gets trapezoidal tail lamps. The car is also likely to get roof rails, panoramic sunroof, twin exhaust tips and a shark fin antenna.

In India, the next-generation Creta is expected to be offered with BS-VI compliant 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. It could also get a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine option.
