Rumour: 2nd-gen Hyundai Creta India launch on March 17, 2020

The second generation Hyundai Creta is likely to be launched in India on March 17, 2020.

The second generation Creta was unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo. The SUV gets a redesigned exterior featuring a new cascade grille and a new headlamp setup with U-shaped LED daytime running lights. It has a dual-tone front bumper with silver insert and fog lamps on either side. At the rear, the SUV gets trapezoidal tail lights and the car rides on 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

The car unveiled at the Auto Expo had a different interior compared to the China-spec Creta. It had a more conventional dashboard with a 4-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a touchscreen infotainment head-unit. The car also had ventilated front seats and an electronic parking brake.

In India, the Creta is expected to get similar engine and transmission options as the Kia Seltos.
