A new study conducted by Consumer Reports has revealed the 10 least reliable vehicles of 2023.
The study pulled together data of more than 3,30,000 vehicles to work out which of them are the least reliable. The study identified 20 potential trouble areas, which included everything from squeaky brakes to engine meltdowns and/or EV charging problems.
As per the study, vehicles from the Stellantis-owned brands didn't fare well, occupying 4 of the 10 slots, including the top slot with the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. The Pacifica managed to score just 14/100 points. The Volkswagen Taos came second, followed closely by the Ford F-150 Hybrid with 18/100 and 19/100 points, respectively.
The Volvo XC60 (21/100) and the Rivian R1T (22/100) completed the top 5. The other Stellantis models in the list included the Jeep Grand Cherokee L in sixth with 23/100 points, the Jeep Grand Cherokee in ninth with 26/100 points and the Jeep Wrangler in tenth with 27/100 points. The remaining slots were filled by the Nissan Frontier in seventh and Volkswagen Jetta in eighth with 23/100 and 25/100 points, respectively.
