Revolt Intellicorp has launched the RV300 and RV400 electric bikes in India. The bikes are offered with payment plans that start at Rs. 2,999 per month for the RV300, Rs. 3,499 for the RV400 standard variant and Rs. 3,999 for the premium variant. All payment plans are for a period of 37 months. Bookings will open from August 29, 2019.
The RV300 is the entry-level variant that is powered by a 1.5 kW electric motor. It comes with a 2.7 kW battery that is claimed to offer a maximum range of 80-150 km on single charge. The claimed top speed of this bike is 65 km/h.
The RV400 uses a 3 kW electric motor that produces 175 Nm of torque. It has a claimed top speed of 85 km/h. The RV400 comes with a removable lithium-ion battery that has an ARAI-certified range of 156 km on a single charge.
The bike comes with an embedded 4G SIM for cloud connectivity and Revolt mobile app with real-time diagnostics, navigation, bike locator, geo-fencing, online payment gateway and access to Battery Switch - a battery charging network. Batteries can also be ordered via the app and will be delivered to the customer's doorstep.
Revolt e-bikes comes with an 8 year / 75,000 km warranty. Service interval is after every 10,000 km. The company has partnered with GoMechanic to provide aftersales service. Revolt is also offering free tyre replacement on the premium variant of the RV400. The company will provide a set of tyres every three years.
The Revolt RV400 is available in Delhi and Pune. The bike will be available in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Chennai in the next few months.
