Revolt Motors has announced the re-opening of bookings for its RV400 electric bike. Dealerships across six cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad, will start accepting bookings from July 15, 2021, 12 pm onwards.
Customers can place their orders through the "Notify Me" tab on the company's official website.
The company had opened its order books for the bike last month. It is said that bikes worth Rs. 50 crores were sold in less than 2 hours, which prompted the company to halt bookings. Deliveries of these bikes have been scheduled for September 2021.
The Revolt RV400 uses a 3 kW electric motor that is powered by a 72 V, 3.24 kWh lithium-ion battery. The bike comes with three riding modes - Eco, Normal and Sport. It is claimed to have a maximum range of 150 km in Eco mode, 100 km in Normal mode and 80 km in Sport mode. The battery can be re-charged in 4.5 hours. The electric bike claims a top speed of 85 km/h.
