Renault has released a teaser image of the Triber. The car is scheduled to make its global debut on June 19, 2019.
The Renault Triber (codenamed: RBC) is based on the CMF-A+ platform. According to the teaser image, the Triber will get a 3-slat grille finished in black with a Renault logo in the centre. It appears to have wraparound headlights and a dual-tone front bumper with LED daytime running lights. The Triber will also get roof rails.
The Triber is expected to come with a dual-tone dashboard with silver trim, touchscreen infotainment system, 3-spoke steering wheel, an instrument cluster with chrome surrounds and modular third row seats. Renault might offer side airbags on higher variants.
Reports suggest that the Triber could be powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine from the Kwid but with a higher state of tune. Transmission options might include a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT.
