Renault Lodgy test mule caught on video

Renault has been testing the Lodgy in India for a while now. Several interior and exterior pictures of test mules of later, we now have a video of this MPV.

Youtube user Swagat Tushar managed to capture a short video of the Lodgy testing at Yelagiri Hills in Tamil Nadu. The international technical specifications of the Lodgy reveal that the car is 4,498mm long and 1,751mm wide which means that the Lodgy is longer and wider than the Ertiga and Mobilio. It has a wheelbase of 2,810mm, which is longer than all MPVs available in India barring the Tata Aria.

The Lodgy will compete with the other 7-seaters like the Ertiga, Mobilio, Xylo, Enjoy and Innova. As per our earlier article, the launch of this MPV will follow the XBA hatchback's launch in 2015.
