Renault has confirmed that it will unveil the Captur on September 22, 2017. The pricing and variant details will be announced at a later date.
The Captur will be based on the same B0 platform as the Duster. Teaser images released by the company indicate that the car will get LED headlight lights with integrated DRLs and LED tail lights.
Spy images of the Captur's interior indicate that it is likely to get red inserts on the dashboard, particularly around the air-conditioner vents and centre console. According to media reports, the car is expected to be offered a touchscreen infotainment system and perhaps even a 7-seater configuration.
While, Renault has not confirmed the engines that will power the Captur, there have been reports suggesting that the Captur might use the same 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines as the Duster. There are rumours of a 1.6-litre petrol engine along with an all-wheel drive variant as well.
The Captur is expected to be positioned above the Duster in Renault's model line-up.
