Ola's first electric car for India teased

Reports suggest that Ola's first electric car could debut sometime around 2023.

Ola Electric has teased its first all-electric car for the Indian market. The short clip was aired during the 'Ola Customer Day' event, held at Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.

Ola's upcoming electric car looks rather futuristic with its clean front fascia and swooping roofline. It has twin U-shaped LED headlamps with an LED light bar in the centre, while the rear features slim LED lights that stretch across the width of the car. Also, note the illuminated OLA logo.

Ola Electric hasn't released any details about its first electric car, however, CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has confirmed that more information will be revealed on August 15, 2022.

While the concept of the new EV seems to be ready, we still don't know the exact phase in which the project currently is. There is no clarity as to when the car will go into production either. However, reports suggest that it could be as early as 2023.
