Ola planning premium car self-drive subscription service

According to a media report, ride-hailing company Ola is in talks with Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz to launch a luxury car self-drive subscription service. The company has reportedly been running a pilot program in Bangalore and is expected to launch it in the coming weeks. 

As part of the new self-drive service, users can get access to luxury cars on a subscription basis. Reports suggest that Ola plans to invest US$ 500 million for this service. Similar subscription-based self-drive rentals are available in countries like the US. Ola offers luxury car rides through Ola Lux.

Last month, Hyundai announced an investment of US$ 300 million in Ola to develop fleet management solutions. The two companies will collaborate to build India-specific electric vehicles and infrastructure..
