Nissan Kicks facelift teased on Thai website

Nissan has released teaser images of the new Kicks on its Thailand website. The SUV is scheduled to make its debut in Thailand on May 15, 2020.

On the outside, the new Kicks gets a redesigned chrome grille with slim wraparound headlights on either side and a new dual-tone front bumper. The tail lights house V-shaped LEDs. The SUV has black plastic cladding around the wheel arches and along the door sills. It has black ORVMs and blacked-out A and B-pillars. The car also has new 5-spoke alloy wheels, chrome door handles and roof rails.

On the inside, the new Kicks will be offered with a 3-spoke, multi-function steering wheel. The instrument cluster houses an analogue dial. One of the images shows the centre console with the gear lever. It has blue highlights around the gear knob. A blue engine start / stop button can also be seen in the image.

In the international market, the new Nissan Kicks is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor. The petrol engine charges the 1.5 kWh battery pack, which in turn drives the electric motor.
