Next-generation Toyota Innova official images leaked

Official images of the next-generation Toyota Innova have surfaced on the internet.

The new Innova, styling is sharper than that of the current model. It has a redesigned front end with a flatter bonnet, new projector headlamps with integrated daytime running lights, restyled dual slat grille, new bumper with a wide air dam and round fog lamps. The rear end features a new tailgate with a spoiler, redesigned windshield, new bumper and split tail lamps that stretch horizontally across the tail gate.

The Innova gets black interiors with faux wood and silver inserts, a restyled dashboard, multifunction steering wheel, redesigned instrument cluster with a TFT MID, touchscreen infotainment system.

In international markets, the new Innova is expected to come with a choice of two engines and 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions:

• 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol, 137 BHP @ 5,600 rpm, 183 Nm @ 4,000 rpm
• 2.4-litre, 4-cylinder diesel, 147 BHP @ 3,400 rpm, 359 Nm @ 1,200-2,600 rpm (AT), 342 Nm @ 1,200-2,600 rpm (MT)

The new Innova will make its debut on November 23, 2015. Toyota is expected to bring it to India in 2016.
