A recent set of spyshots has revealed the interiors of the next-gen Suzuki Swift hatchback. The interiors look similar to what was earlier seen on the Swift's official sketches that were leaked on the internet.
The spy shots suggest that the next-gen Swift will get a comprehensively revised interior, with a flat-bottom steering wheel, an all-black dashboard, and circular central AC vents. The car gets a new head unit for the music system, which looks similar to what is offered on the lower variants (Delta and Zeta) of the Maruti Baleno. There are certain other elements that have been borrowed from other Suzuki cars, including the gear lever that is similar to the one in the Baleno and the Vitara Brezza.
The instrument cluster gets a completely new design. The analogue speedometer and tachometer are housed in pop-out oval pods. A large MID screen is placed in the centre. A battery percentage sign on the MID in the spy shots indicates that the model being tested might have the company's SHVS mild-hybrid technology onboard.
The new Suzuki Swift is likely to make its world debut on September 29, 2016 at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the car in India next year.
