Skoda has released a design sketch showing the interior of the next generation Octavia.
According to the image, the new Octavia is likely to get a new dual-tone dashboard. It has a wide touchscreen infotainment head-unit in the centre, while the gear selector has been replaced with a switch. It also gets a 2-spoke, multi-function steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster.
In global markets, the new Octavia will be available with turbocharged petrol, plug-in hybrid, diesel and CNG powertrain options. These include 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder and 1.5-litre petrol engines, a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol and a 1.4-litre plug-in hybrid. A 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine will be available in two states of tune - 148 BHP and 197 BHP. Additionally, a CNG variant will also be on offer.
The new Skoda Octavia is scheduled to be unveiled in the second week of November 2019.
