According to a leaked document, the next-generation Hyundai Creta is likely to be offered in five variants - E, EX, S, SX and SX (O).
The SUV is expected to get a 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission and two petrol engine options - 1.5-litre unit with either a 6-speed manual or CVT and a 1.4-litre turbo petrol paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The latter is expected to come in SX and SX (O) trims only.
The new Creta is expected to be offered in Mulbery Red, Galaxy Blue, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Phantom Black, and Lava Orange exterior colours. It is also likely to get 2 dual-tone options - White with Black roof and Orange with Black roof.
The next generation Creta was unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo. It comes with a new cascade grille and a new headlamp setup with U-shaped LED daytime running lights. At the rear, the SUV gets trapezoidal tail lights and a stop lamp placed below the rear windscreen. It also gets 'CRETA' lettering. On the inside, the SUV is expected to get a touchscreen head-unit and a 4-spoke multi-function steering wheel.
