Nexon Aero custom body kit showcased at 2018 Auto Expo

Tata Motors showcased the Nexon Aero featuring a custom body kit and interior upgrades at the 2018 Auto Expo. It is one of the customization options that will be available on the Nexon soon. 

The Nexon Aero comes with a body kit featuring black front bumper cladding, side skirts and rear bumper extensions with red highlights. It will be available in a Liquid Silver exterior colour, which will be exclusive to the Aero. It has black roof and gloss white trim around the fog lamp pods, window line and tailgate. On the inside, the Nexon Aero gets piano black finish on the dashboard mid-pad, steering wheel, centre console and door trim.

The Nexon Aero is mechanically identical to the standard model. It is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine which makes 108 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and a peak torque of 170 Nm @ 1,750-4,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and comes with three driving modes - Eco, City and Sport. The Nexon Aero rides on 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

Also, it has been rumoured that another OEM body kit called 'Akiva' will also be on offer. However, this is yet to be confirmed.
