New Honda Jazz - interiors spied

Here are some images of the interiors of the upcoming Honda Jazz.

The pictures reveal that the dashboard of the Jazz will be similar to that of the City sedan. It is black with silver inserts. The steering wheel has the same design, but houses fewer buttons (cruise control buttons are missing). The car is seen with a CVT automatic gearbox and has paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel.

The centre console of the car is also similar to that of the City. The infotainment system and gear lever have also been carried over from the sedan, but the 12V power outlet, USB and Aux-in sockets have moved to the left.

The Jazz is expected to be available with a choice of two engines - 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. The 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder, i-VTEC petrol engine is carried over from the Brio and Amaze and develops 87 bhp and 109 Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, i-DTEC diesel motor, which is also used in the Amaze, City and Mobilio, produces 98 bhp and 200 Nm of torque.

Honda is expected to launch the new Jazz hatchback in India in July 2015.
