My used Jeep Compass: Bought a new metal key fob cover

The box contains a silicon case, a metal case, 4 additional screws, 2 mini screwdrivers and a metal tag.

The key cover is damaged again, this is the 2nd time. This time went ahead with a metal key case. It is hilariously heavy.

Ordered for some 800 bucks on Amazon. It came with a silicon case, which can then be covered with a metal case. The box contains the silicon case, metal case, 4 additional screws, 2 mini screwdrivers and a metal tag.

Installation was straightforward, I am not using the metal tag as it will add additional weight.

It is bulky and heavy. If you have a habit of dropping your keys or you work in harsh environments, then yeah go ahead with it.
